💸 2024’s Biggest U.S. Home Sales: 7 Deals Exceeded $100 Million
In 2024, luxury real estate in the U.S. hit remarkable highs, with seven homes selling for over $100 million—a level once considered the ultimate rarity. As ultra-high-net-worth individuals grow in number and wealth, $100M+ transactions are becoming more common, signaling a shift in the real estate market’s upper tier.
🏡 Ultra-Luxury Sales on the Rise

According to appraisal expert Jonathan Miller of Miller Samuel, there have been nearly 45 U.S. home sales over $100 million since the record was first broken in 2011. Of those, 30 have occurred since 2020, illustrating how demand for elite properties is accelerating.
In 2024 alone, seven megadeals broke the nine-figure mark, placing this year just behind 2022 for the highest number of $100M+ home sales in U.S. history.
